Meet Exec 2025! 

President
Hi! My name is Emily Diehl, and I’m honored to serve as President of the Alpha Beta chapter of Alpha Xi Delta here at Cornell. I’m originally from Boston, MA and currently a sophomore majoring in Biology on the Pre-Med track. I’m incredibly excited to lead our chapter and empower each of our sisters to reach their fullest potential.

Communications VP
Hi! My name is Anya Gardner-Matviak, I was born in London and now live in Boston. I major in Business with a focus in hospitality at Cornell’s Nolan School of Hotel Administration. I am excited to lead all communications to sisters, families, and alumni. Our great comms team is responsible for all marketing (merch designs, social media, and outreach) and external relations. I look forward to engaging with all of you throughout the year about what our chapter is and does.

Finance and Ops VP
Hello! My name is Keira Damon and I’m from outside Chicago, IL. I am a sophomore studying public policy in the Brooks School and I am minoring in Business. I manage the finances of our chapter as Vice President of Finance and Operations, which includes dues, budget oversight & implementation, and merit point tracking to ensure our chapter runs smoothly!

Membership VP
Hi everyone! My name is Leah Devoe and I am a sophomore in the Dyson School studying Applied Economics and Management with a projected concentration in Finance. I am from Long Island, New York, and am excited to be Alpha Xi Delta's Membership Vice President, meaning I will be leading AXiD's formal recruitment process. I am so excited for a great year ahead with AXiD!

Philanthropy VP
Hi, my name is Rebecca Ryan. I am a junior in the ILR School on the pre-law track. I’m from North Jersey, and am excited to serve as the VP of Philanthropy! I am incredibly passionate about creating opportunities for our chapter to make a positive impact in our local community. I love empowering young women and can’t wait to organize meaningful events that connect our sisters with causes that truly make a difference.

Chapter Life VP
Hi, my name is Giana Fontanetta and I am a sophomore in the College of Engineering. I am from Oradell, NJ, and I’m so excited to be serving as the Vice President of Chapter Life. I am looking forward to organizing events and activities to foster a greater sense of sisterhood throughout the chapter!

Member Development VP
Hi! My name is Johanna Troelstra, and I’m the vice president of member development, which means I oversee academic achievement, ritual appreciation, and the education of our new members. I am from Queensbury, New York, and I’m a sophomore majoring in biology and society on a pre-medical track.

Panhellenic Delegate
H! My name is Leah Fromm and I’m from East Hampton, NY! I’m a sophomore studying biological engineering and will be the AXiD Panhellenic delegate! I’ll serve as our liaison to the other sororities on campus as well as the Cornell Panhellenic Board!
